Working in partnership with the client, Caton Search will analyse the client’s needs to determine the required set of skills, understand organisational relationships, define the required experience, and identify the other characteristics necessary for the successful candidate.
After assessing the client’s needs, Caton Search will prepare a job marketing document/ job specification that outlines the key responsibilities, required qualifications, criteria for success and all relevant information regarding the client.
Upon acceptance of the specification, our research team will identify a longlist of relevant industry professionals through our identification and mapping of targetted companies, our in-depth industry network, our access to various databases of individuals and other sources.
The consultant(s) whom the client briefed and who prepared the job marketing document will then make selective calls to sources and prospects to identify qualified and interested individuals. Those candidates who are confirmed to be qualified and interested will be invited to interview with Caton Search. These candidates will be evaluated on the basis of experience and potential cultural fit with the client organisation. Interviews take between one and two hours and are competency, criteria and biographic based.
Confidential written reports containing previously agreed information are then submitted on three to five individuals who most closely fit the position specification.
Caton Search will then schedule a mutually convenient meeting between the client and each candidate. After each interview, Caton Search will contact both the client and candidate for feedback.
Caton Search will then assist in offer negotiation with the chosen candidate(s). If the client wishes Caton Search will also assist in the structuring of the compensation package. Once the successful candidate is in place, Caton Search are available to support the newcomer’s successful integration into the client team.
