Bob Caton has a broad industry expertise gained through Executive Search and senior management. He brings 13 years of international experience of oil and gas contracting and transportation management together with 15 years experience of Executive Search.
Bob began his career in Executive Search in early 1999 with Hanover Matrix where he specialized in Strategy Consultancy before moving on to create a significant Infrastructure and Utilities practice. After this he branched out and became a co-Founder of Benchmark Search in 2002.
Bob’s experience includes working for a number of high profile Clients such as Siemens, Stagecoach and Eurostar as well as smaller start up organizations. A full list can be provided on request. He specializes in either Senior Appointments or difficult to source roles where traditional advertising has failed.
Before entering the executive search business, Bob held senior management positions in the UK, The Netherlands and Japan and worked for HSBC Rail and JGC Corporation, one of Japan’s leading engineering contractors specializing in the construction of Oil and Gas facilities.
Bob graduated from the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst and spent the early part of his career in the British Army as a commissioned officer with the Royal Green Jackets, now The Rifles.
He has an MA in History from Oriel College Oxford and an MBA from Exeter University.
Marcus has worked in technology since the 1980's in a diversity of technology roles from sales, support, systems analysis and executive search for start-up dot.com companies.
He has gained a deep understanding of the needs of business and the impact of technology from designing and implementing sophisticated IT systems in both start-ups and established firms.
During the technology boom Marcus advised leading venture capital firms on their internet investments, ran training events on executive recruitment and consulted at board level for many technology ventures in the UK and Europe. He has recruited senior managers for some of the best known names in the technology world at director and CEO level as well as founding and selling his own executive recruitment business in 2002.
Marcus also consults privately for many technology firms across Europe about Open Source technology and is in demand for speaking at both public and private events. He currently runs a small technology consultancy working with clients in engineering, management consulting, public-sector and takes an active interest in online privacy matters.
Sheana is a French graduate from Aberdeen University. She is bi-lingual in German having lived and worked for 9 years in Germany. Extensive work experience in large multinationals working with Board members both in the UK and abroad has given her a breadth of understanding of how companies in various industry sectors operate.
Christian has 15 years experience of research in the executive search industry and conducts international searches in a variety of different sectors including automotive, aerospace, B2B, public transport, security equipment, consumer goods, contract manufacturing, media, energy, building services, the financial markets and the public sector.
He has worked on assignments in the UK, Germany, Russia and the Middle East.
Christian has an MA from Heidelberg University and an MSc from the London School of Economics.
